Pile Cap of Two Piles:
Here, Pile value of 18 in diameter, 55 ft long, pile load is 80 kips, and 105 kips on column.Plan of Pile Cap |
- Step 1: Moment
Load on each pile = 105/2 =52.5 kips
M = 52.5 × (2.25-.5) = 92
- Step 2: Depth
- Step 3: Steel
- Step 4: Shear

Pile Cap of Three Piles:
Here, Pile value of 18 in diameter, 55 ft long, pile load is 80 kips and 220 kips on column.Pile Cap of Three Piles |
- Step 1: Moment
Load on each pile = 74 kips
M = 74× (1.9167’) = 142
- Step 2: Depth
- Step 3: Steel
- Step 4: Shear
